Privacy Notice

Last updated 28 October 2026

This explains what CaloriQ collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

1. Who runs CaloriQ

CaloriQ is run by JM Solutions (JC Mier) in Cebu, Philippines. For privacy questions or requests, contact the person who invited you to CaloriQ.

2. What we collect today

3. What may come later

CaloriQ is still being built. Weight history, weekly weigh-ins, meal photos, progress photos and a leaderboard are planned. When we add them, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent again. In particular, meal photos will be sent to an AI service to estimate calories, and we will tell you which one before it happens. Progress photos will be private by default. Nothing about you is shown to other users today.

4. Why we use your information

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Who can see it, and where it is stored

6. How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. In Settings, “Delete my account” erases your profile and sign-in records from our live database straight away. If we keep backups, deleted information leaves them as they expire, which we aim to be within about two weeks.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

For anything the app cannot do for you yet, such as a copy of your data, contact the person who invited you to CaloriQ.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), sign-in through Google, and limit who can reach the server. No system is perfectly secure. If a serious breach affects you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

9. Adults only

CaloriQ is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

10. Changes to this notice

We will change the date above when we update this notice, and ask for your consent again if the change is important.

This is the preview notice for CaloriQ's early version. It will be reviewed and updated before public launch.
